Nordic Swan Ecolabel

Beginning as a joint effort amongst Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Iceland for a more sustainable planet, the Nordic Swan Ecolabel was created in 1989 as a criterion to produce batteries. As consumer awareness of the environment grew, so did the Nordic Swan Ecolabels’ reach. Today, it has become a large organization dedicated to the sustainability of society. Through a strict verification process, the Nordic Swan Ecolabel examines the use of chemicals, certifications, and documentation of each product to meet the Nordic Swan Ecolabel standard. The Nordic Swan Ecolabel reviews the criteria for all products and services yearly to ensure that the requirements are up to date with the market.

Easy on the Planet

The Easy on the Planet program works in concert with customers to reduce the impact of production and material goods on the environment. Marked by a notable Easy on the Plant or EasyTree symbol, products created with these labels are manufactured in an eco-conscious manner. For a product to be considered Easy on the Planet certified, it cannot contain any substance of high concern, as stated on the REACH Candidate List. When customers purchase these products, they not only positively impact the environment but also reduce their carbon footprint as well. For every Easy on the Planet certified product purchased, the Easy on the Planet organization will plant a tree on the customer’s behalf.
