As peles que utilizamos na FredFloris são biodegradáveis e curtidas com ingredientes naturais. Utilizamos apenas peles criadas a partir de subprodutos da indústria da carne e curtidas a vegetal na Suécia e em Itália.

Uma vez que utilizamos couro de flor integral não corrigido, cada produto pode conter marcas de beleza. A cor da pele também varia entre peles e dentro da mesma pele, o que é especialmente verdade para a pele encerada. Handmade right here in our workshop. We usually hand-cut these leather straps from a 4 mm thick double butt vegetable tanned full-grain leather hide, but sometimes we received the leather already cut into straps from the tannery, this magnificent piece of leather is tanned in Tuscany, Italy using aniline dye on the grain side to give it a deep, rich colour. On the backside of the leather, it is treated with wax/resin, a treatment reserved only for the highest quality leather and allows for long-lasting wear.

When crafting the belt, the length of the belt is MTM to specifically fit your waist. Once cut into straps, the edges are rounded, sanded, painted and finally burnished to allow for a comfortable wear, every step is done by hand and takes several days to complete. The edges are treated to make it more water resistant.
